The Honorable Brian F. Hagan
The Honorable Brian F. Hagan was elected Judge of The Rocky River Municipal Court on November 6, 2007 and re-elected without opposition November 5, 2013. He was re-elected once again on November 5th, 2019.

Previously, Judge Hagan was in private practice having been admitted to the State of Ohio Bar in 1981. He served as Rocky River Municipal Court Acting Judge, Magistrate and Referee.
Judge Hagan was elected twice to serve on the Rocky River City Council and did serve from January 1, 2004 through December 31, 2007. He served as Council President since August 2006 and was chairman of the Contract – Government and Judicial Committee and served as a member of the Parks and Recreation Committee, Environmental Committee and the Finance Committee.
Judge Hagan served twelve years as Special Counsel for the Ohio Attorney General’s Office. He also served in the Judge Advocate General’s (JAG) Corps in the Ohio Military reserve.
Judge Hagan has served as a trustee for local charity organizations and foundations and is a longtime area youth sports coach for recreation and school basketball, football and baseball teams. He is a former trustee of the Catholic Charities of Cleveland, The Jesuit Retreat House and St. Augustine Manor.
Judge Hagan is a graduate of St. Ignatius High School. He earned a Bachelor of Science Degree from St. Francis College (PA) and his Juris Doctor Degree from Cleveland Marshall College of Law at Cleveland State University.
