Rules of Community Control
|
The Rocky River Municipal Court has placed you on community control, believing you will respect and abide by the rules and terms of community control. Community Control is a privilege, which allows you to remain in your home and/or at your job. You have been assigned a community control officer that will work with you in trying to solve the problems, which brought you to the attention of the court. It is to your benefit to be cooperative with the community control officer as he/she is working to help you. Your community control sentence is set by the judge, however, under the Ohio law your community control period can be extended for up to 5 years. You must earn your release by carefully following your community control terms as set forth in your journal entry. Any violation of the rules/terms of community control could result in the revocation or loss of your community control status. In consequence, you may be committed to correctional or treatment facility. |
